Dana Baron, Quality Control
Dana has over 23 years experience in the construction industry with all field, management, fast-track scheduling and quality control operation responsibilities with a major emphasis on waterproofing wood-framed structures. The last 15 years of his career has been focused on proactive work in the prevention of water intrusion, developing waterproofing details and implementing them in the field. He holds a Level II Infrared Thermography Certification and has been a thermographer for 11 years. Dana has used thermography as a non-destructive test method for the detection of possible water intrusion, air infiltration/ Exfiltration, structural CMU wall fill-cell inspections as well as roof moisture inspections. As an Inventor, he has developed waterproofing components and systems used in the balcony/ exterior deck location to prevent water intrusion. Dana has conducted water intrusion presentations with several architectural firms to help develop stronger details pertaining to the exterior envelopes of the buildings.
Eric Jorgensen, Quality Control
Eric has more than twenty years experience in the field, all of which has been with Mark Construction Co. and Mark Baron Construction, Inc. In that time, he has contributed to nearly all of the General Contracting projects as part of the Mark Construction Co. Field Team. Eric is responsible for the coordination of each project. He works with all Subcontractors and Suppliers to ensure efficiency and adherence to the schedule. Safety and Quality are Eric’s strong points. On-site, he make sure all Safety guidelines are met and conducts weekly safety meetings with all members of the team. He works with architects and engineers to be sure a quality product is delivered tot the Owner within the assigned completion date.
Cindy joint Mark Baron Construction in 2015 and has over 14 years of construction accounting experience. She has worked with industry leaders such as RKC, Inc. and Roger Kennedy Construction, Inc. She is responsible for all company-wide accounting and in-house financial statements for Mark Baron Construction, Inc.
Shelley Ewing, Executive Administrator
In the last 20 years, Shelley Ewing has gained a wide range of experience including accounting, human resources, contracting, administration and information technology, all in the Central Florida area. She earned her Undergraduate degree and Graduate degree in Administration from the University of Central Florida. Shelley is responsible for processing Owner Contracts, as well as all Subcontracts, Purchase Orders, Change Orders, Submittals and Insurance. She also takes an active part in working with municipalities to submit and process permits. Shelly is also responsible for all marketing, including materials, updating the website and all social media. With strong skills in organization and information maintenance, she hopes to incorporate the latest technology to create a more seamless and paperless work environment for her company.
Meredith Bowman, Executive Administrator
Meredith has more than 20 years experience working in the construction industry. In that time, she has administered projects from contract to closing. Some of Meredith’s responsibilities include preparing bid documents, organizing plans and specifications, coordinating Owner Contracts and insurance, and preparing and tracking subcontracts and purchase orders. She works with the Subcontractors and Suppliers to ensure all documentation is processed and closeouts are provided at project closing.
